How long does frozen shoulder last?
Untreated, it commonly runs 1–3 years. With staged physical therapy — and sometimes a physician-administered injection early on — most patients recover usable, comfortable motion much faster.
Should I push through the pain to stretch it?
No. Overly aggressive stretching in the early inflamed stage can make frozen shoulder worse. Correct dosing by stage is exactly what a skilled therapist provides.
Is frozen shoulder related to my diabetes?
